Biography
Henry V. Lyons Jr. is an educator, technology veteran, author, multimedia entrepreneur, and community advocate with more than four decades of professional experience. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lyons Gold Standard Multimedia LLC, a minority-owned multimedia and technology company that provides website development, graphic design, video production, video editing, publishing, advertising, hosting, educational resources, and technology consulting services.
Mr. Lyons began working with computer technology during the early development of the personal-computing industry. His professional background includes computer programming, computer systems, website development, digital media, photography, graphic design, video production, and communications. His experience helps businesses, nonprofit organizations, educators, authors, and community leaders use technology and media more effectively.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, graduating cum laude from Mercy University, and a Master of Science degree in Special Education from the City College of New York. He has served the New York City public school community for more than 25 years as a special education science teacher and computer coordinator. His work has included supporting students with diverse educational needs, introducing young people to technology, and creating practical educational materials for teachers, counselors, families, and schools.
Mr. Lyons is also an author whose published work includes science fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. His books include the “Supernature” science-fiction series and educationally focused writing about technology, digital wellness, human communication, and the effects of excessive screen use. Through LGM, he develops educational programs that combine literacy, social-emotional learning, technology, creativity, counseling tools, and interactive learning experiences.
His community interests are strongly connected to education, youth development, digital literacy, small-business growth, and access to affordable professional services. He believes that established professionals and business owners have a responsibility to share their knowledge, resources, and experience with the communities that supported them.
Mr. Lyons is seeking membership in the All Law Enforcement & Business Owner Society Inc. because its mission closely matches his commitment to public service, education, community cooperation, and responsible business development. ALEBOSI brings business owners, law-enforcement professionals, civic leaders, and residents together to improve communication, support public safety, organize educational programs, assist families experiencing emergencies, and strengthen New York communities. These goals directly align with his experience as an educator, business owner, technology professional, and community advocate.
As an ALEBOSI member, Mr. Lyons is committed to contributing professional support in education, technology, multimedia production, website development, video editing, advertising, publishing, and community communications. He would be interested in assisting with youth technology workshops, educational events, public-service campaigns, nonprofit websites, community announcements, event promotions, video documentation, digital-literacy instruction, and programs supporting local entrepreneurs.
He also hopes to build productive relationships with other ALEBOSI members and participate in projects that create measurable benefits for families, young people, schools, small businesses, law-enforcement professionals, and residents. He joined to contribute his experience to an organized network of professionals committed to cooperation, service, public safety, economic opportunity, and direct community assistance.
